Nick Balletta
With over a decade’s worth of experience in webcasting, he is considered an industry veteran. Nick started his career as a webcasting executive in 1998 when he founded NextVenue Inc., TalkPoint’s predecessor company. NextVenue was created as an off-shoot of CNBC/ Dow Jones Desktop Video (a joint venture amongst Microsoft, NBC, and Dow Jones). Nick has previously served as an executive within Williams Communications Inc.’s Vyvx Broadband Media division. He served as president of Enterprise Services at Ibeam Broadcasting and was a member of the company’s board. He holds an MBA from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
Mike Vitale
Mike has over 12 years experience in Webcasting technology, with a background in production and technology services. Mike has been with TalkPoint since its inception. Previously he directed Production Services at Wiltel, iBeam Broadcasting and NextVenue. Vitale was a Director for CNBC/Dow Jones Business Video, one of the earliest sites on the Web to utilize streaming media. He oversaw CNBC’s Web-Cast studio operations which delivered hundreds of CEO interviews to CNBC/Dow Jones’ clients. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Montclair State University.
Dan Roche
Dan is responsible for Marketing Communications as well as overseeing product and support marketing efforts. Prior to joining TalkPoint, he held several sales & marketing related positions at Wiltel while also acting as Business Analyst for the head of global sales for Vyvx Broadband Media, a business unit of Wiltel Communications. Roche has over 10 years experience in Webcasting Sales & Marketing. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Fairfield University.
Gary Marrero
Gary has over 15 years of senior financial management experience, with a strong background in revenue recognition, sales finance and human resources. He also provides decision support, planning and control over operations in the areas of business analysis, management accounting and reporting, and business applications. Gary has a BS in Accounting from Saint John’s University and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
Steve Rubin
Steve leads the organization responsible for the development of strategic relationships. Steve’s team develops the strategic initiatives and program innovations that create channel capacity to drive TalkPoint’s growth in existing markets and new areas of opportunity. Prior to joining TalkPoint, Steve founded and operated a privately held interactive agency providing streaming media services and interactive media strategy to a global suite of clientele. Steve holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Tampa.
